A lighter camera, such as an MFT camera, is connected via the TSN-DA adapter, which is placed on the eyepiece. When using the TSN-DA adapter, you connect the assembly in two different ways. With the Kowa TSN-AR42GT you connect your camera via a standard T2 adapter to the TSN-DA adapter, creating a compact and versatile digiscoping solution. If you want to connect your camera via the filter thread of your camera lens, you will need an adapter ring that fits on it. The installation of this digiscoping solution is simple. Within one minute the complete set-up is ready. See the images for an installation overview. Installation on the camera body with the Kowa TSN-AR42GT requires several steps: screw the DA10 inner ring onto the eyepiece, mount the optional Kowa TSN-AR42GT adapter ring on the DA10 outer ring, connect it with a suitable T2 adapter for your camera system, and slide the DA10 and camera body combination over the inner ring. Tighten everything with the thumb screw and you are ready to digiscope. Connection via the filter thread of your camera lens is also possible. In addition to the TSN-DA10, you will then need a Kowa adapter ring that fits the filter thread of your lens. Kowa offers various sizes: 28, 30, 30.5, 37, 43, 46, 49, 52, 58, 62 and 72 mm. For non-standard sizes, a step-up or step-down ring is the solution. Please inquire for more details. You choose the Kowa TSN-DA10 with spotting scopes from the Kowa TSN-99, TSN-88, TSN-880, and TSN-770 series, together with a Kowa TE-11WZ or TE-80XW eyepiece. For combinations with the Kowa TSN-601, TSN-66, TSN-82SV series and the High Lander series, use the TSN-DA20. You will also find this in the related products.
