Two built-in microphones pick up ambient sound sharply and let you hear from which angle it comes. If a shot rings out nearby, the hearing protector immediately dampens that loud sound. You adjust the volume easily with the large buttons, even with gloves on. Press the minus and plus button together and the LED light turns on; it sits on the left cup and switches off automatically after three minutes. For an external sound source, such as a radio, there is an AUX port available.

Comfort comes from the gel rings on the cups and the leather covering of the headband. At the bottom, the cups are deliberately kept slim, so both left- and right-handed shooters can aim comfortably with them without the cups getting in the way — it works equally smoothly for both hands.
