For the maintenance of your Hill hand pump, use Hill Silicone Grease — a 15 ml tube with NLGI 2 silicone-based lubricant. Regular greasing significantly extends the life of your pump.
Hill itself stipulates that you use only this lubricant. Oil-based or petroleum-based products are expressly discouraged and can damage the pump.
