Rifle Rest Caldwell Fire Control Front Rest

Caldwell uses a self-developed "Fire Control" mechanism in this series of rifle rests: a well-thought-out aiming system that lets you align the weapon with one hand. You adjust both the horizontal and vertical position via a control arm that moves in multiple directions.

Operation is via your fingertips. By working the control arm you steer the part that carries the forend of the weapon. Once you've made the rough adjustment, you bring the sight into precise alignment with smooth movements of that same arm — without needing to change your shooting position.

What you're left with is a firm grip on the alignment within a particularly solid platform, with accuracy that surpasses that of previous rifle rests. Adjust the sight to your target by moving the arm in the desired direction; the weapon then stays still without requiring any further adjustments. The 60 MOA equals an adjustment range of approximately 1.5 meters at 91.4 meters (100 Yards). For sport shooters who want to perform consistently at distance, this is a practical support.
