The Caldwell E-Max Low-Profile Electronic hearing protector in green combines a flat profile with active noise suppression — a convenient choice for hunters and sports shooters with both small and large caliber firearms.
On both sides there is a built-in microphone, together providing a clear stereo image of the surroundings. Ambient sounds up to 85 dB come through normally, so you can follow conversations and environmental sounds as usual. Once the sound level exceeds 85 dB — such as when a shot is fired — the microphones shut off immediately to protect your hearing.
For power you need 2 AAA batteries; these are not included with the product.
