Looking for a robust foundation for long-range shooting with your Tikka? The MDT Oryx – Tikka T3/T3x SA – Black chassis is constructed from 6061 aluminium with a black anodised coating, a material choice that resists corrosion well and ensures a solid overall build. MDT Defense also chose to make the chassis work with AICS magazines (Accuracy International Chassis System). These magazines present the cartridge precisely toward the chamber, delivering reliable and consistent feeding. For shooters aiming at distance, that's a common and proven combination.
At the bottom of the fore-end you'll find a series of M-LOK slots; with them you attach a bipod without fuss, or mount the whole thing on a tripod. The sides of that same fore-end feature diagonal grooves that give you a bit more grip. Holding it is pleasant thanks to the AR-style grip, and you also shoot comfortably against the shoulder stock. If you want to adjust the LOP to your position, you slide spacers in there. On top of the shoulder stock there's finally a cheek riser that you adjust in height with an Allen key.
