This KMR S-02 OR – Shield adapter plate is completely made of impact-resistant aluminum with solid quality. It features a black anodized coating, which matches well with the black sled on the KMR S-02. You use the two screw holes in the middle to mount the KMR S-02 OR - Shield adapter plate onto the Optics-Ready sled. For this you only need to remove the small plate at the back of the sled. There are four studs on the top of the adapter plate, which allow you to place the Shield red dot on it relatively securely before fastening it with two screws.
