Ballistol aluminum bluing is easy to use and suitable for surface refinement, re-bluing and restoration of minor damage. The bluing is suitable for smaller complete components as well as for scratches and friction marks on anodized components (e.g. telescopic sight mounts, handguards on semi-automatic rifles).

Application
Degrease the surface beforehand and sand it lightly if necessary. Pour a small amount of the aluminum bluing into a plastic cup or glass (dispose of leftovers properly). The application should take place at room temperature. The intensity of the color depends on the alloy, with repetition increasing the hue to black.

Keep out of the reach of children. Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray. Avoid release to the environment. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing and eye protection/face protection. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water or shower. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. If possible, remove contact lenses. Continue rinsing. Keep locked up. IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. DO NOT induce vomiting. Recycle contents/container only when completely empty. Develops upon contact with acid very poisonous gases.
