The Böker Plus Appalachian Damascus is predestined for finer and more precise cutting tasks due to its size, weight and design.

The heart of every ax is the head. In this particular version, the head is made of solid carbon Damascus steel with 360 layers and the ears on the sides of the eye typical of hand-forged axes. The cutting edge is ground razor-sharp and, with the handle gripped directly under the head, is also suitable for work such as carving, stick-feathering and skinning. In keeping with the noble head material, the handle is made of high-quality and decorative walnut wood.

A leather sheath made of natural-colored, light cowhide leather and carefully sewn piping, which is included in the scope of delivery, reliably protects the cutting edge. Two leather bars hold the ax securely in position. With a double-riveted tab on the back of the sheath, the ax can be hung up or attached to a backpack for transport.
